PatientEleventyBillion 851 Posted June 25, 2017 I've been in a stall for over 3 weeks myself, not sweating it. Just realize they happen, and continue with the good habits. 1 njgal reacted to this
GApeach80 4 Posted June 25, 2017 I totally understand. My surgery was on June 7th. I lost 10 pounds pre surgery and 10 pounds since. But, this week the scale hasn't moved at all. I am journaling my food and being pretty strict on calories (like less than 700 a day. I can't really eat more than that). Plus, I have kicked my walking up a notch. But the scale is not budging. The only thing I know that is not helping is I still pretty constipated and have to take DulcoEase every second day just to go. I still have some side pain so I take the pain meds at night. That is still messing with my regularity, I know. I am terrified that I spent all this money, worked so hard to stick to the plan...what if this doesn't work for me? MKirkman328 6 Posted June 26, 2017 Relax!! Your body is adjusting to your new way of eating. Your metabolism is getting new messages!! It will kick in and the scales will start to drop. Mine did... Yours will too!!!Sent from my K88 using BariatricPal mobile app 1 GApeach80 reacted to this
Karcares 34 Posted June 28, 2017 I was sleeved May 22. Surgery date weight was 213. I'm now at 199. I get all my Protein in, getting an average of 650 calories per day. Water I can get in about 40-50 oz no more. I've lost some inches but still feel it should be coming off faster. Especially given the fact I used to have 1-2 cocktails per day and quit cold turkey. Getting some exercise but have to take it easy because of arthritis in my knee. Could my age be a factor? I'm 57 and post menopausal. Love this forum - it's been such a huge help. Thanks for all your posts.
AK_Bookworm 116 Posted June 28, 2017 I will be 6 weeks on Thursday and I've only lost 20lbs... I started at a heavier weight (284.6 the day before I flew to Mexico) and I don't feel I've lost nearly as much as others at my size however I am happy with where I am. I think you guys are right on track and doing great!!! I had a stall at 3 weeks and when I increased my calorie intake for a day or two it broke but they happen so focus on those amazing NSVs and ignore the scale!!! MrsDiva21 3 Posted June 28, 2017 I thought I was the only one. I was sleeved on 6/1 and have lost 16 pounds. I have not lost anything this week, instead I gained 1 pound. Reading everyone's posts have helped.
NewMeesh 14 Posted June 28, 2017 I've had two different 2-3 week stalls since my sleeve was done January 11th. HW was 251, SW was 241. But in all I've lost 54 pounds and am now in Onederland! My first stall broke when I added a few more calories I wasn't eating enough. Give it time your body is adjusting and if you're exercising you'll need to continue to adjust. Be patient with yourself...
