semaj80 0 Posted May 3, 2019 Gay here. Looking to be sleeved 6/4. I am nervous! Any suggestions or tips/tricks to calm nerves beforehand? Sent from my SM-N960U using BariatricPal mobile app
voyagerslug 17 Posted May 6, 2019 @semaj80, so as someone with diagnosed anxiety, there is nothing that completely satisfied me so I wouldnt have surgery anxiety. I just meditated and tried not to overthink it. I guess it depends on what you have anxiety about? Im about 4.5 months put and very happy with my decision. It doesnt mean that there arent times when I wonder if I made the right decision (because I definitely wonder that) but it does me that on balance I feel great. It is a constant struggle but a much better struggle than when I had all the weight.

mr.sean 60 Posted August 30, 2019 17 days post-op and I feel good! I got dehydrated yesterday because a new multi-day wave of nausea kept me from drinking as much Water as I should have been. I'm back on track with the water now though. And down 26lbs!
three79 29 Posted October 6, 2019 Hi guys, I am two years out from surgery. Now down to 224lbs (I am 6'2) but finding that I am still 25% body fat. I've been working out for the last 8 weeks at the gym but I am now wanting to get more serious with training and tracking results. If anyone is in a similar position I would love to find some one to help keep each other accountable. Cheers! 1 mr.sean reacted to this
