But sometimes i feel that food is sloooow coming down from my throat to my stomach

So i have to sip a little Water like 10 or 15 ml

I do not thing 10-15 ml is going to make any difference. I was told that it was ok to take a sip or two, just not to drink the whole glass with the meal.

It's fine. Do what you have to do to get the food down, just don't overdo it.

From what I read on another forum the reason you don't drink with your meals is that (1) it makes the food (which has already been super chewed or soft already) leave your stomach into your intestines before your body has time to absorb the nutrients and (2) can cause larger pieces of food into the opening between your pouch and intestines and possibly stretch the opening out, eventually making one long stomach like pouch that is harder to fill up and be full. I haven't done any more research, but the article was very informative.

Make sure you are chewing completely and that it is liquid level before you swallow. That will help with getting food down. But as@Tarver11 has mentioned, there are important reasons why we are not supposed to drink while eating.

I usually try o add moisture to the meat (mustard, etc.) so that I don't need to drink when eating. a little is ok, but you want to avoid it if at all possible.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
