Just when you thought that stall would never end

Recommended Posts

My stall came to an end finally. I was down 40 pounds since surgery in February. Dropped two pounds this week after starting the C25k running trainer.

Went from a 14 to a 12 with no weight lost. I can live with that:-). Photo before was taken in December 2016. 6 weeks before surgery. IMG_4752.JPG

Great job! I was thinking about starting the C25k, too. I used to hurt so bad just trying to take a 1 mile walk and now I'm 1 month post op and zipping through a 2 mile walk with ease! I've never considered myself EVER becoming a jogger but I'm feeling hopeful now! :)

I love the program. It sure eases you into running. Walk 1 1/2 minutes, run 1 minute. That has been week one. Week two adds a minute to the workout and increases the run time 30 seconds. It prepares your joints for running. I have done it before when I was over 200 lbs and was still able to run a 5k pretty easily. I can't wait to see if I get a better time now!
