Katy Harvey, MS, RD, LD, CED 19 Posted June 16, 2017 Getting off track and regaining weight is so frustrating and discouraging! This is why I created a tool to help people get back on track. It's called RESET: Getting back on track after bariatric surgery. It's an online course where you watch the videos at your own pace. It can be found at https://resetbariatric.com Who am I and why should you trust me? I'm Katy Harvey, a dietitian, and I specialize in bariatric surgery and the psychology of eating. I'm also an expert in binge eating disorder and emotional overeating. I've helped hundreds of people find peace with food and their body. Let me know if you have any questions! That feeling of being out of control is awful. Reach out to your surgeon and let them know you are struggling. You don't have to go through this alone. Geri Marie 235 Posted August 7, 2017 In 2010 I had the Lap band surgery. I was 298 and got down to 212 and then boom. I stopped. I was actually happy with myself, and didnt find it a concern. Now...I started having issues with the band. Heartburn, chest pains, and ultimately decided to have it removed. So next week on the 16th I am having the band removed and on November 13th I am going to undergo the sleeve surgery. I'm so unmotivated though right now. I have gotten myself two brand new bags of Bariatric Advantage Protein and am trying to stick with two shakes and one good meal. But I am stuck home due to a recent spinal surgery and its so darn hard to not graze all day. SMH I ordered a few books about the sleeve and bariatric journey so hope that will kick my motivational butt in gear. Any suggestions?

They took all the Fluid out of my band so it gave me free reign to eat whatever again and oh boy that was a mistake. I hope your reset works! You can do it.
