I think I am more anxious for it to be over than I am nervous. I want the journey to move to the next step. You will be fine. You get to sleep through it and wake up on a whole new road to life! Betty Trigo 10 Posted June 20, 2017 My surgery is tomorrow, 6/20. Can't sleep, so excited and a little anxious. I had the worst urges to eat something tonight, must be my nerves. A new road to life sounds good. Wishing everyone luck and Godspeed.

Hardscratch 11 Posted June 24, 2017 In on Wednesday the 21st and discharged Friday the 23rd. Feel best when I keep up and moving and don't settle in and be lazy. Think it may take a while to get the system regulated again. But now it is no longer anticipation but instead the ability to move on! 2 Betty Trigo and Hollyluya reacted to this
CherryBlossomGirl 2 Posted June 24, 2017 I had my surgery on the 20th and so far everything is just perfect! The only thing that really makes me crazy is being without energy and although I understand this is normal, but I am so bored do any of you feel like having a shower or walk around the house is A BIG job done and you need rest after this? I am a bit afraid of driving, therefore stay at home all day... what do you do to fly days faster and how do you entertain yourself? P.s. Yes, I'm reading books, watching movies, but need smth more 1 Betty Trigo reacted to this

Yes, I'm reading books, watching movies, but need smth more [emoji4] Yes and it was that way for me until week five (which is where I am now) but even now, if I do a bunch of chores, I get so tired. I can tell it's coming back though. It has been the worst thing about the surgery (so I can't complain too much). I've read that in most cases week 8 is the week energy returns full force. Can't wait! 1 CherryBlossomGirl reacted to this
