20 in Mass, getting surgery in Florida

Just looking for someone to talk to to help raise my spirits. This pre op liquid diet has me feeling pretty sad, but I know I can do it. I just have no one that relates to how I'm feeling- which is hungry! Lol

Ok, I'm not familiar with that surgeon, I had one surgery with Dr. Simon in West Palm Beach and another with Jefferson Vaughan in Jupiter, both were good, Vaughan was exceptional. At any rate, like I said, the liquid diet is the worst, and it will get better! I was very unhappy while I was doing straight liquids and questioned the surgery constantly, but things progressed much better once I was allowed dense Protein.

That's how I am. Days are going by much, much slower and my mood swings are out of control

Currently only allowed to have Optifast, broth, and other Clear Liquids so that's all I've had besides a couple bites of cucumber today

It's all worth it, keep in kind your goal!!! Liquids are tough but a great prep for post surgery.
