Rivka7NV 40 Posted June 13, 2017 I have been a slave to the taste of the podiatrist who made my orthotics. I would love to hear that once I lose some of my weight, I can get rid of them. I am hoping if some of you out there have any experience with orthotics, you will share what those experiences have been. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Lynzee43 28 Posted June 13, 2017 Well, it may really depend on why you wear orthotics. I actually didn't start wearing them until I had lost some weight and I was running...over pronating will wreck the knees! 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
Berry78 4,261 Posted June 13, 2017 I had several inserts that were recommended by my PCP, chiropractor, and a podiatrist. All three sets were miserable! Tried Dr. Scholl's (foot scanning machine thingy) from Walmart, and have been happy since. Lol. Sometimes less is more. Keep in mind, my feet aren't yours, so my solution may not work for you. I have noticed my need for special footwear has decreased, but I'm not holding my breath that it will go away all together. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
