BRockVSG 13 Posted June 12, 2017 So here is me in a nutshell. I am 42 year old father to a beautiful 3 1/2 year old daughter and husband to the best wife a man can ask for. I have been heavy my whole life. Currently, I am about 6'4" and around 535lbs with a BMI of 65. Ever since I turned 40, I have been haunted with the thoughts of not being here for my daughter when she grows up. I like many other people have tried many different diets and exercise programs but never found myself being able to keep any significant amount of weight off. I did CrossFit for about a year, going about 2-3 days a week. I noticed a difference in the amount of weight I was moving but I was hard on my already stressed joints to keep up that pace. I have gone through most of the preliminary things that I need and have a surgery date set for 7/17/17. I am looking forward to using the "tool" that I will be given to help me live a long a happy life with my family and be here to walk my daughter down the aisle, hopefully many many many years down the road. I am very excited to get back to my CrossFit family and use that to propel me to another level. I look forward to all that life has to give and look forward to speaking with all of you!! 2 ProudGrammy and blueskynoise reacted to this
