chache64 22 Posted June 12, 2017 I'm 3 months postop and I've lost 50lbs. I've developed a pain in my right hip area. Sometimes it feels like a strained hip flexor, sometimes it's an achy bone and sometimes it feels like an inflamed ovary or something. It's a deep pain and it is ruining my running. Has anyone else experienced this? Sw 230 ce
pumpedandready 27 Posted June 12, 2017 Sounds like bursitis. It is inflamation of the bursa. Ice helps and rest. I have had it for years.Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app 1 shay_148 reacted to this
chache64 22 Posted June 13, 2017 Ok thanks for the insight. I hope that's not what it is. I've heard how bad it can be. Sorry you've had to endure it so long
shan0520 241 Posted June 13, 2017 I was having that from doing so much walking. It ended up I needed better support in my sneakers. Ever since I've changed my shoes, my hip pain has gone away. Sent from my VS995 using BariatricPal mobile app

Thanks for the input. 1 shan0520 reacted to this
shan0520 241 Posted June 15, 2017 Skeechers for me were the culprates. They are so comfy, but causing such pain. So now I moved onto Asics. Sent from my VS995 using BariatricPal mobile app 1 InThisLife reacted to this
