*Capricorn* 0 Posted June 10, 2017 I found out I shouldn't go below a BMI of 40 or BCBS might protest my surgery. Since age 9 I've either been on a diet or didn't count calories at all. I've never just maintained. Has anyone had this problem? I Was eating between 1500 - 1700 cals/day. Now I'm trying 2000 per day. Any advice is appreciated.Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

Berry78 4,261 Posted June 10, 2017 How many calories a day do you think you were eating before talking to the surgeon? That should help steer you towards a good calorie count. It sounds like you are doing right, increasing your calories to stop from losing too quickly. Good luck!
