Have any women thought about getting a Tummy Tuck or breast lift? I was against it right after surgery but now seeing how saggy and deflated everything is I may reconsider. I do exercise cardio (4days) strength (1 to 2 days) a week Thoughts ladies?

I plan on mortgaging my life out to my 90's in order to get the surgeries. lol! I want a full body lift. That's legs, butt, tummy, breast, arms and maybe neck. I was over 350 at my highest and I'm only 5"1'. I have a lot of saggy skin. A. Lot.

I needed a lift and reduction pre-surgery, and definitely am looking in to getting one when I reach maintenance. I have a surgeon in Houston already picked out, although my husband would probably want me to stay local, it'll be cheaper, but I like the Horndeski Method (now called something else). It's pretty cool.

Not sure about the TT though, we shall see when it's closer to time.

I'm planning on having a breast reduction/lift when I reach my goal weight. I've always been stacked, and I have pain from them now, as well as 2 bulging discs in my neck. I'm hoping the weight loss and muscle strengthening when I start lifting will help with the pain, but I'm sure they are gonna look scary once I reach goal. I'm open to having a Tummy Tuck if necessary, but I'll see how my stomach recovers before I make up my mind.

Horndeski has had privileges revoked from the medical board for his practices, Google it.

Really!? I'll look it up. That's probably why he sold it or whatever and now it's a different name.

Interesting. I read some horror stories about him, but I didn't pay a lot of attention but there are a couple people he completely botched.

It's peer related, four years ago. Nothing about his actual practice or method or quality of care .

On April 12, 2013, the Board and Gary Michael Horndeski, M.D., entered into an Agreed Order requiring Dr. Horndeski to obtain within 30 days an independent medical evaluation from a psychiatrist and follow all recommendations for continued care and treatment, within one year complete 16 hours of CME including eight hours in risk management and eight hours in communications skills with professional colleagues and pay an administrative penalty of $1,000 within 60 days. The Board found Dr. Horndeski was disciplined by peers at Angleton Danbury Medical Center regarding issues related to competency, conduct and behavior and had his membership and privileges at ADMC revoked.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
