lf1227 129 Posted June 6, 2017 I'm having a hard time preparing meals. I am cleared for a reefular dietr and have been for about 3 weeks. My main go to's have been steak, ground chuck burgers, home baked chicken wingettes. I try to eat veggies like corn and Brussels sprouts but it's hard to fit much other than the Protein in for lunch or dinner.< /p>My problem is that I am running out of things that sound good. Soup is still a no from the scarring of post op, and i tried zucchini noodles...that was a no go either. Please just drop some suggestions... also chicken breasts are a no 🤢Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
James Marusek 5,244 Posted June 6, 2017 The transition to solid foods can be a rough one after gastric bypass surgery. There is no need to rush it. I found that softer foods, such as chili and Soups, went down much easier than harder foods, such as steak and chicken. As a result I relied on these to a great extent after surgery. I have included a few recipes at the end of the following article. http://www.breadandbutterscience.com/Surgery.pdf 1 Chavon88 reacted to this
