Did anybody have diarrhea from the clear liquid diet the day before surgery?

Yup that happened to me too. It was like that for the first two weeks when I was on liquids. It does get better when you start introducing solids, as you would expect.

Yes! Very common. I talked to my doctor about it at then time... he said liquid going in, liquid coming out. Ew. Hang in there, it will pass. lol

Me too. Then about 4 weeks after surgery the Constipation set in. That was worse I think. It will fix itself and you'll forget all about it once you're post op and losing.

Get used to it. Until you get to purée it is pretty much all loose stool. And then the opposite for a bit, when you need to increase Fiber, get a squatty potty stool and try smoother move tea. But all of that is temporary.
