She Smiles 2 Posted October 12, 2008 Awww, thanks. I will say there are days I see those pics and I see hot. But these extra pounds from the unfill are making me see me as "once hot" I am sure I will get over it when I drop them, and get back to the super skinny. I feel EXACTLY the same about looking at my pre unfill weight gain photos too. We can do this, WE CAN and we'll be THAT hot again.
Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted October 12, 2008 I feel EXACTLY the same about looking at my pre unfill weight gain photos too. We can do this, WE CAN and we'll be THAT hot again. Yes we can! :crying: I will be your accountability buddy if you will be mine. I need to get back to the gym #1 thing. But this house guest (if you can call her that) keeps me teathered here. It sucks.
kacee 3 Posted October 12, 2008 Wow, Boo Boo...you've changed your pictures!!!! You are lookin really really good girl! I've got to get some after pictures of myself and put them up. Amazing changes in the last year. I too am considering some ps work. Probably more in my face though....neck tightening and eyelids (the stuff we 'old ladies' have to mess with)...haha Good luck! Donna113 2 Posted October 27, 2008 Hi Brandy. Just wondering how you are doing now post-op? Has the swelling gone completely down?
Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted October 27, 2008 I have no swelling anymore. I am calling tomorrow and demanding my date for revisions. I can't stand it anymore.
Donna113 2 Posted October 27, 2008 I thought you had revision surgery already when you got your port replaced?
Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted October 27, 2008 No, they wouldn't do it all at once. I wish. I will be having 3 surgeries this year.
Donna113 2 Posted October 28, 2008 That is too bad. But just think, when it's all done, you will be smokin'!
kareyquilts 1 Posted October 28, 2008 Hope you get your date soon!
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted October 30, 2008 She is already smokin hot! I wish I could get it through my brain that one chocolate leads to a bunch more. I think I am going to stick myself back on the Liquid Protein shake diet to get rid of sugar cravings. The Peanut Butter chocolate one is so good, I think I would do fine. It's only 120 calories so even if I drank 6 of them per day, it wouldn't be that many calories. I should be able to do that and not feel hungry. I am afraid to get a fill due to acid reflux. Donna113 2 Posted October 30, 2008 Denise, are you still at goal with an unfilled band?
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted October 30, 2008 I haven't had a fill since last Dec. I have no idea if all the fill stays in there. I feel like i don't have much restriction, and I have gained 5 lbs that i can't seem to keep off. I go up and down 5 lbs, but can't seem to stay at the down 5 where I want to be. It's amazing that 5 lbs can make my pants hard to button. I honestly can eat anything I want. I have no trouble with bread or any of the things that used to give me trouble when I got that fill. Do you think it evaporates? I try to eat right, but sometimes it's hard when everyone is going out to pizza, and i have no trouble what so ever eating pizza, and situations like that. Donna113 2 Posted October 30, 2008 Well, as long as it's only the 5 lbs that you're flirting with, I wouldn't want to restrict myself further. If, however, more weight starts to creep in, I'd probably want to get to an adjustment. I'm still relatively a newbie and quite a bit away from my goal so my advice probably isn't worth much. Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted November 3, 2008 Well an update...but still more drama than I want to deal with... They (U of M) hospital turned in paperwork to my insurance company to get the revisions paid for, but of course it took forever. AND why would my insurance company pay for it when the Dr was clearly at fault. SO, now the revisions have to go before a committee to be approved by them, since it is the Dr's fault and the hospital will have to pick up the slack. I was told that there is no way I will be able to get surgery this year. I am more than angry. I don't even know where to start bitching with them. I am ready to throw up my hands and get an attorney.
kareyquilts 1 Posted November 3, 2008 Well an attorney might speed up the process, but not sure if you want to get the doc angry, but then again, maybe he would be extra careful this time around! Have you tried appealing to him directly?
