Thanks guys. I am getting back to things pretty good. I got a call from PS yesterday. He won't move the port at the same time as the revisions, so I will be having 2 more surgeries. I was hoping he could fix that screw up as well, but oh well. I am sure it will be better to have the Bariatric place fix it, I jsut don't want 2 big scars on my tight tummy! I am loving bikinnis now! lol...

Went running last night and took my 9 year old. She fell it was so horrible, cuts all over, stiches on her elbow. I feel so horrible, she is supposed to leave for GS camp tommorow and now doesn't want to go.....

I guess from now on I will leave my exercise obsession for just me!

:scared2:

Aw, so sorry about your daughter BBK. I hope she changes her mind about camp. No matter how awful she thinks her scrapes are, she will forget all about them once the giggling starts!

So glad things are finally getting better for you! I am envious of your exercise because I still have until 8/5 before I will be released for any. I'm going CRAZY!!

Kathy

I thought I would go nuts before I was released for exercise. I think waiting was the worst thing ever.

DD let me pack her stuff yesterday, so she is changing her mind a bit. I will let you know if she goes.....

BBK: Thanks for sharing. Great pics. I'm glad that your doc is going to fix everything. Are you going to get implants with the breast repair? ? What approach is your doc going to make to fix the problems and when? Your tummy looks fantastic and you are looking absolutely wonderful!

Boo Boo Kitty,

Do you need to have the skin on your arms done? They looked good in the picture. My arms are looking scary. I hate to think about having that big scar going down my arms but I hate the saggy skin too.

Thank you for sharing. You are awesome!

Karey--he plans on readjusting the breasts from the bottom. BUT I am really contemplating implants. I don't want them any bigger but I couldn't handle any smaller. I feel they need to be fuller on top. I hate all these decisions. I didn't talk to him about it, so I hope it is even an option even if I have to pay for the implants themselves. I hate this. He will be fixing the tummy, the sides dog ear with new cuts and some Lipo.< /p>

Lap--I haven't had work on my arms, if I had my way I would. BUT there is that long scar to deal with which I DO NOT want. SO I just work them out harder....ugh...

BBK: I'm wondering if an implant would help even out both sides? I love my implants, my bra size isn't really bigger than I started with, I just fill out my bra better. I have better volume on the top and they just look better. I really would talk to him about it. There's no doubt he'll have an opinion about it! They always do! LOL!

Hi BBK,

Thanks for sharing your photos -- the tummy looks wonderful and you have such gorgeous skin. I'm sure you will be very happy with everything once your Dr. makes the revisions.

I am extremely happy with my implants, and even though I did go up one cup size (there was no way I was going to pay good money for a measly "B" cup :cursing:), you can have an implant and still remain the same cup size you are now. I am SO happy with the way my implant fills out my breasts (especially the upper part) and gives me really nice cleavage even when I'm not wearing a bra.

So my vote is to go for it :thumbup::thumbdown:.

Thankyou so much for sharing your photo's even sharing "success" photos of PS can be intimidating but to share the "problem" photo's you have takes much strength. But it is just as important for us to see the complications as it is to see the successes.

You look fabulous with your clothes on and deserve to look and feel just as fabulous with them off even if only you and your husband get to see it. I will keep your revision surgery in my prayers.

Those are some pretty cool pictures, Brandy.

What kinds of exercises do you do on your arms? I have been working on them for months, and see no change. I do the tricep exercises my trainer

showed me. I bet there is muscle in there, but all the skin hides it.

Fran--thanks! I am praying he will do it. I am convinced they are what I need!

Ghost--I agree with clothes I am happy, too bad I have to be naked sometimes....blah...

Denise--I do actually EVERY arm machine they have at my gym. I do them all because I didn't have a trainer to tell me what to do, so I figured if I did them all I would get something right. lol.... They have I think around 9-10 of them. I will write down names next time for ya. I have a ton of skin still but I think it is more sleek with exercise.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
