Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted June 3, 2017 Okay, I have arthritis in my knees and a little in my shoulder (old horseback riding injuries). I had TKR in the right knee but still need to take something for joint pain. Currently I take Aleve, in fact the ortho said 2 in am and 2 in pm, I really don't want to take that much but there are times when I do. Question: what is anyone taking after the sleeve for this (as nsaids are banned)? (Tylenol has never done a thing for me ever for pain) Thanks.
susiesue 12 Posted June 5, 2017 I was dreading having to stop anti-inflammatory meds, as I've taken them for about 6 yrs for arthritis of the spine, and problem with shoulders. So, I spent months researching natural anti-inflammatories, and have found curcumin. It has to have high strength bioavailability in order to work, but I believe it's a miracle cure. I have heard very positive things about it from a couple of people I know who use it, and I have emailed the details to my Sleeve surgeon and I'm seeing him next week for a check up, so he'll tell me if they're ok to use, my GP seems to think they are ok, so fingers crossed. The brand I've bought are CurcuDyn. But I'm sure there are others available too. Good Luck 1 Sosewsue61 reacted to this
