txsrooster 45 Posted June 2, 2017 So I should be completed with my 6 month requirement in July and HOPE to have surgery either in July or August. I told them first available, I ain't playing around. So here is my problem..I want to register for the Santa Hustle 5K early because because it is cheapest to do it now, and they want to know what size shirt I want...I told them i would LOVE a medium but I think that would be a bit too ambitious considering I am a 2XL now. I did tell them an XL and they told me if I need to change the size I can swap it out at packet pick up. If anyone is going to be in Galveston TX around DEC 11, its a great time. What a wonderful problem to have to ponder, right? 2 Finally17 and slimmerpoos reacted to this
darnlochnessmonster 40 Posted June 3, 2017 I have a chart for this! I did some research prior to surgery and found that, for most people in the "straight sizes" (up to a L) a typical ratio is 10lbs equals a dress/shirt size. For sizes XL and up, it's closer to 12 lbs. If you have a larger frame to start with, 15.75 pounds lost equals a dress/shirt size lost. This will vary based on body shape and composition, but it's a pretty good rule of thumb. 2 txsrooster and EmScaDem reacted to this
