I know this logically but pre surgery I think I was looking for an out (wrapped up in the reason of being fully informed) and I sought out complications. I started to convince myself that I'd be the anomaly, I mean, someone has to be, right? She talked me off the edge and I'm so glad. Data and logic goes out the window if you're petrified.
