Kristin1031 0 Posted October 7, 2007 :clap2: I just received my surgery date Nov. 9th. I am very anxious and nervous as well. I have battled my weight for over 25 years and am ready to have it behind me. I am looking forward to the journey this new beginning and rebirth will afford me as well. I am being banded 9 days after my birthday..... I joined a healthclub 5 weeks ago and have been walking in the pool 5 2 6 times a week 4 an hour, feeling good about the exercise. I am going in tomorrow for a pulmonary study to see if I might have Asthma and have to have my sleep study this next Saturday to see if I have sleep Apnea. Pre testing will be done on the 25th. So I have a full plate over the next few weeks. Still am nervous and anxious at the same time. I love reading and hearing from others who are walking this walk with me. cphillips05 0 Posted October 7, 2007 Hi, I'm on here b/c I'm a college student writing a research paper. And, I don't want to offend any one but I would like to have some information abot the lap-band that is not strickly generated by the medical field. I want to be able to have the whole picture and all the risks & benefits and not just the bias ones proved by the surgery centers & the manufacturers of the bands. If any one doesn't mind helping me please let me know:help:
