Joann454 1,329 Posted May 29, 2017 When I had gallbladder surgery they told me to remove mine. This time they said no polish but I have my natural nails now. If your hesitant to remove them call and ask. You don't want a surgery day surprise. My gut says remove them. 2 ProudGrammy and vsgmommy reacted to this
fairyann 3 Posted May 29, 2017 You need to have at least one without polish so they can check your oxygen level during surgery- they use one of your fingers/nail beds. 3 MSinger, vsgmommy and PatientEleventyBillion reacted to this

I love my acrylics, so they told me that it needs to either be a clear coat, or something light, like a French manicure! Good luck on your journey![emoji177]

Belle_Mimi 22 Posted May 29, 2017 Every surgeon is different. I was sleeved on Friday the 26th. I wear the gel nail polish and was not asked to remove them. The day of surgery my nails were redSent from my SM-G920T1 using BariatricPal mobile app
