I do not have Cigna, but I was required to do a 3 month doctor supervised diet with mine. I know with some if you have worked on weight loss in the last year with your doctor it helps with approval. Your visits have to document your height and weight, show you discussed a diet plan, show you discussed an exercise plan, and your diagnosis has to state obesity. Im not sure that Cigna does this, but it's worth asking your bariatric office to see if they can assist you. I don't know if this helps you, but just thought you might need some general information. Good luck and take care!

julie1978 21 Posted May 31, 2017 Cigna requires a 4 month consecutive supervised weight loss and you can't skip any months. At least that was my requirement with Cigna
