The New Kel 1,312 Posted May 28, 2017 I've been making this lately and it's so good and satisfying! (Im 8 months post op so no food restrictions as long as they are healthy) BLT, but I use iceberg lettuce instead of bread. For me personally, I watch my carbs and don't worry as much about fats. I use crisp bacon, Tomato, mayo, and iceberg. 13 GBLady41, Diana Prince, pathacker and 10 others reacted to this

Andrew0929 1,101 Posted June 7, 2017 Have you consulted with your nut regarding bacon? While I always loved bacon, personally I avoid it. Pretty unhealthy...

I also would use turkey bacon. It looks yummy once I can eat lettuce.
The New Kel 1,312 Posted June 7, 2017 bacon, in moderation, is fine by my NUT. I only have this about once a week. I don't care much for turkey bacon, so this is a treat that I enjoy occasionally!
GBLady41 393 Posted June 9, 2017 I think turkey bacon tastes better. I'm definitely going to try this blt soon!
