RickM 1,752 Posted May 25, 2017 They could be referring to a stricture, which can happen with malformed sleeve. A good surgeon can correct it and a so-so surgeon will revise it to a bypass because he doesn't know how to correct it. (Always go for a second and preferably third opinion before revising for a defective sleeve, particularly if the first choice is the guy who did the original sleeve.) OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted May 25, 2017 I have a hard time trusting Youtubers. Honestly looking though her videos she seems like hypochondriac and a little whacky. sleevelessinottawa 8 Posted May 26, 2017 Hi I haven't watched that video or any others. My doctor shared with me that this happens to 10% of patients. I unfortunately am 8 months post surgery and have being struggling with food intake. On average I eat around 300 calories a day. When I try to eat more it comes back up. My doctor just ordered me back in for surgery to have the Roux-en-Y to hopefully fix this issue. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I researched or so I thought I did and had never heard of stuff like this until I was post op & following others journeys.
