hopefulme 0 Posted October 6, 2007 I found this site today - very informative. Attended a seminar Wednesday evening, have appointment to see Lap Band doc on 10/16. Am very hopeful but after checking around the site I see new people talking about hunger. Does this eventually fade or lessen - it is beginning to concern me. Seminar said the hunger fades and the allowed food is satisfying - is this basically true? Thanks for any responce.

Physical hunger is not an issue for me at all, and hasn't been since my operation. Head-Hunger, or psychological hunger, is the issue, and I believe that lessens as time goes by. angeleyes32 0 Posted October 7, 2007 hopefulme- Welcome! What doctor are you pursuing? I was banded in cincy and used Dr. Mobley. I was banded on Aug. 17, 2007 and so far have had a very positive experience. It has been less than two months for me, but I totally look at food differently now. Shocked at how much I actually ate before as I think most of us find! Good luck and welcome! Angela
