Surgery in Mexico?

After being denied surgery from my insurance and being super depressed about it I'm really looking into surgery in TJ anyone have experience with surgery in Mexico?

Not yet, but my surgery date is June 2. Tomorrow I start my liquid diet. I decided to go to Tijuana, Mexico because my insurance doesn't have any Bariatric benefits. I've done a substantial amount of research and I'm apprehensively excited about it. I know everything will be fine, just worried about leaving my kids.
