melty29 33 Posted July 11, 2017 Hello! I had my procedure on 6/12. Currently I am in the puréed phase. I think my biggest obstacle has been the fact I am tired a lot of the time. My Dr said it will probably last a few more weeks. It has been nice to have some texture in my food. I suggest homemade refried Beans for sure. I just cooked pinto beans in the crockpot. Puréed them in the food processor and added a little enchilada sauce and reduced fat cheese. Baked butternut squash puréed with garlic and Greek yogurt cream cheese was nice too. Wishing everyone a lot of success! 3 akaet, cassiegurl and northstar9148 reacted to this

Has anyone else had this problem and/or advice? It was difficult to get down the liquid the first few days, until I started to use a timer. Every 3 minutes I had a sip of Water or Protein. It's difficult. I haven't had any nausea.

I haven't had any nausea. But my doctor gave me a medication for nausea. Ask your doctor for something to help with the nausea. 1 niseys4 reacted to this
