Happy Mother's Day! Today I'm finishing up my third week post op. This week was extremely sad as I lost a very close friend suddenly/tragically. The emotional stress set me back days. I definitely know my trigger for mindless eating and had it not been for this surgery, I would have eaten my weight in Smartfood popcorn. So today I am measuring my success not by the numbers on the scale, but by acknowledging my trigger and finding alternate solutions. Just curious how others mark their success.
