After a couple of nights with pain getting out of pain the pain started easing up. 3 weeks out no pain. I started by moving from side to side in the bed end used a pillow at back for comfort. Hope you feel better. 3 minutes ago, evergreen said: I had my surgery on 5/8 and I still feel the pain. Very very slowly noticing it ease up. Congrats to you! jhope71 105 Posted May 15, 2017 (edited) DeltaD - They took you off depression meds cold turkey? That's not recommended. Mine let me stay on my depression meds, but took me off metformin and the spironolactone I was taking for PCOS. Depression meds should never be stopped cold turkey. You need to wean off those with a doctor's help. Some meds are more serious than others, and I don't know much about Effexor. You might want to call the doctor to make sure that's what he meant to do. Hope you feel better soon. Edited May 15, 2017 by jhope71
