darstvader 31 Posted May 13, 2017 Hi All,I was sleeved in March and have really just began enjoying veggies again. My fave is making 'fried rice' out of riced cauliflower. I add eggs and meat to this but unfortunately it's just too light on Protein still, given that I can only eat a small amount. I want to enjoy my veggies but it's hard because I know it should always be protein first but I don't always want to fill up on that. Any idea what I could add as a supplement to boost that protein content? Would unflavored Protein Powder be ok or would it make the texture weird?Your advice is MUCH appreciated. Thanks! 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted May 13, 2017 I eat my veggies as their own separate meal. They are usually my afternoon or after dinner "snack". I don't eat veggies with my meat because if I do either they take up too much space, or they make my dense Protein not as dense and I am not full for as long. I think an unflavored protein powder could work with a stir fry but you could have to be really careful with the temp so it doesn't clump or curdle. One of the reasons I enjoy eating them alone is because I can eat them in a large quantity. 3 BackAgain, 3boysmama and Berry78 reacted to this
