travelergirl 142 Posted May 12, 2017 Uugghh...this is the day I was dreading. Two weeks of liquid prep. I am so hungry. I know this has importance to help with a successful surgery. This is going to be a tough mental challenge.Any tips on how you made it through?Sent from my SM-G920V using BariatricPal mobile app 1 EvaLake reacted to this
SeaShells82 96 Posted May 12, 2017 Keep yourself busy. When I wasn't at work I was scrubbing my house from top to bottom to keep my mind off food. The first few days are the worst but after that it gets much easier. You can do it! [emoji1303]

I've been on it for a week and half and have struggled some but after changing the Protein Shakes I was originally using and finding a broth that works for me (the sodium was making me feel so sick) I am doing better. I also noticed when I am at work with nothing to really do I think I about food and hunger more than if I am busy.
PatientEleventyBillion 851 Posted May 12, 2017 At others said, first few days are the worst. If you've had a ton of carbs/sugars before your diet, it's also very likely you will go through both psychological and physiological withdrawal. That's why when I started my liquid diet I warned my wife I could be very pissy for a while, and indeed I was.
Newme17 3,444 Posted May 13, 2017 I'm almost to the end, Sunday is my last day. In the beginning, I went to bed early. My diet is a little different but was still hard and tough mentally and physically in the beginning. You can do this. It just gets easier and easier. 1 Newsgirl361 reacted to this
