Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted May 11, 2017 http://money.cnn.com/2017/05/10/news/economy/aetna-obamacare/ This is not a political debate. Even prior to the current presidency the ACA wasn't working for insurance companies and they dropped out. I used to have many choices of companies in the first two years of the ACA. This year I had 2. And next year it sounds like only ONE and not my current one. This is information. This year may be the year you HAVE to get surgery if you use either Aetna or Humana insurance to do so, as they will drop being part of the ACA. 2 neyney1960 and Arielle reacted to this
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted May 11, 2017 We are in the same situation in the same state. I used to have 10 insurance companies to choose from, them 2, now 1. They removed all the Drs and Hospital networks local to my area and I have to travel 90 miles plus for a decent Dr, and they are my only insurance option. So now instead of just running my business, I have to run my business and work a job just to have decent insurance, when I don't even need the job financially. Many of my self employed friends across the country are in the same boat. 1 Arielle reacted to this
