I had dizzy spells and went to the ER and when they ran my blood work I had abnormally high creatine - they admitted me for a few days to give me fluids/ medsI never really knew why it happenedWish you luck!!! GAWildKat 82 Posted May 12, 2017 Creatine shows abnormal kidney function. I can't tell you how it works in humans, but in cats, yes. It's a symptom of kidney failure in them. You may not be drinking enough water/noncaffinated drinks depending on your other meds. I need a minimum of 80oz of drinks a day because of my 2 cups of coffee and dehydrating meds. Elevated creatinine can happen from dehydration, working out too hard, increased Protein intake. I'd also recommend checking in with your NUT in case you may need to make adjustments to your diet. Dr office nut is who called with lab results. I drink about 100pz of Crystal light or Water daily. Take no meds except Vitamins. Have dizzy spells quite frequently and low bp. They were mixed right in line with the other flavors as well. Mine do not. They have some with"energy" that do and Vitamin ones as well.
