soon2bvsg 14 Posted May 10, 2017 I saw a commercial for Isopure drinks which have 0carbs and 40g of Protein but I can only find the drink on Amazon. Amazon don't sell singles, not inclined to spend 50 bucks on a drink if I haven't tried it out. Has anyone tried this drink and where do you buy it from? romafiori 55 Posted May 10, 2017 I had to have them as part of the clear liquid diet pre-op. They're so so, in my opinion. GNC carries singles so you can try out different flavors. 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
az062217vsg 40 Posted May 10, 2017 I tried them (also bought from GNC). They are tolerable to drink, but not my favorite. Of the flavors I tried I liked grape the best. 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
GMen88 70 Posted May 10, 2017 They have them at single in single bottle form for about $3.99. Sometimes they'll be on sale. I've tried Alpine Punch and I couldn't finish it. To me, it has a really weird, bitter aftertaste that made my mouth feel chalky. I'd suggest going and getting a single bottle and seeing if you like it! 2 randik and soon2bvsg reacted to this
Navigating the Wilderness 824 Posted May 10, 2017 I find most Protein 'juices' to be pretty bad. 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted May 10, 2017 (edited) Vitamin World has them too. I bought two but have not tried them yet. I bought blue raspberry and punch. Someone said dilute them with some ice/water as they are tart. They are a little pricey. Definitely NOT juice I ordered them months ago and I can't remember where but I have seen them at GNC. These don't taste wonderful but they really help get the Protein and liquids in right after surgery and an off day. Its nice to know that if I don't get enough protein in during the day, I can drink this have 40g of protein. 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
thiasmom 18 Posted May 11, 2017 I have tried grape, blue and green ones. I'm glad that the gym I work out at sells them but GNC and Vitamin Shoppe sell them too where I live. I like them VERY cold 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
MarinaGirl 609 Posted May 11, 2017 I tried a bunch of flavors pre-surgery and a few were ok but after surgery I can't stand them.
neyney1960 23 Posted May 11, 2017 See for me they were just what I needed. Plenty of grams of Protein and a mild not super sweet flavor. I got mine at GNC. 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
az062217vsg 40 Posted May 13, 2017 I just tried TruSource Protein Water (got at Walgreens) in the flavor fruit passion, and it is much better than Isopure, in my opinion. No weird after taste. 20g protein, 80 cal. 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
ready_to_be_thin 179 Posted May 13, 2017 I think they are disgusting personally. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using BariatricPal mobile app 1 soon2bvsg reacted to this
soon2bvsg 14 Posted June 4, 2017 To all of you that said it's disgusting.... You are so RIGHT!!!! I bought 1 of each flavor. Each one taste like poison. It was so gross I thought it was expired. Great amount of Protein per serving but I can't take the taste [emoji12]
Diana Prince 53 Posted June 4, 2017 Vitamin World has them too. I bought two but have not tried them yet. I bought blue raspberry and punch. Someone said dilute them with some ice/water as they are tart. They are a little pricey. That's exactly what I do. I also squeeze half a lime and ice in it and drink it all throughout the day.
