Nerve pain

I'm having intense nerve pain today on my incision the stomach was removed from. Is this normal? I think me trying to sleep on my side triggered this and I'm Hoping I haven't pulled something causing this pain.

Yes, I had extreme nerve pain from about post op day 6 until around 2.5-3 weeks out. It wasn't the incision though but where my internal stitches were (the indent in my abdomen below the largest incision). It was agony. I had a nerve ending caught in the internal stitching. Nothing I could do but wait it out. Totally gone now at 4 weeks post op and I feel great- but I definitely can't sleep on my left side yet.

That's the only incision I have an issue with now. The others feel fine and Thursday will be my 4 week mark post op. I sneezed Sunday and thought someone stabbed me with a hot poker. I still can't sleep on my sides. I can lay on them a while but have to roll to my back.

How do you guys know which incision your stomach was removed from?

I think it's normally the one near your belly button. My surgeon told me that's where she removed mine from.

Mine is on left and largest incision but my doctor told which one was the incision and to expect it to hurt more.

Mine is to the left of my belly button. I knew that was the one because my stomach is indented underneath where they put internal stitches.
