kplz87 1 Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) Hi, when I was started this journey my BMI was 40 weighing in high 190s, my surgery weight was 181 lbs after losing some on the Pre-op diet and today four and half months later, I'm 149.4 lbs however I have been this weight since April 12th so almost a month.. I know 'stalls' happen and its your body adjusting but is it possible to stall this long so soon into it? (after 3 1/2 months). My goal weight is 118-120 so I've got some ways to go still. I started tracking my calories and I'm eating about 1000-1200 a day. I started exercising on the treadmill about 45 mins three times a week. I hit about 60-80g Protein a day and I'm taking my Vitamins. any insight? Edited May 9, 2017 by kplz87 1 CocoNina reacted to this

Joann454 1,329 Posted May 9, 2017 about 30-40 gramsAll I can possibly think is to lower your carbs to around 20 and see if that kickstarts ketosis. Seems like you should definitely be losing with what you eat. Maybe bumping calories up some when you exercise. Must be so frustrating. 1 CocoNina reacted to this
JKC2016 82 Posted June 5, 2017 Are you tracking your body fat? Sometimes weight is stable when we trade lean mass for fat. Are you measuring too? If you are losing inches and body fat but not weight you are winning! I have a scale (Aria, auto uploads to my FitBit) that tracks body fat percentage and I focus on fat pounds lost, not weight lost. 1 mustanglauri reacted to this
