Lovingmyself83 67 Posted May 9, 2017 I'm still having the weirdest bowels ever. I'm at my 1 month post op appt and I'm going to ask about it. It's not that I'm constipated now but it looks like I took that alli pill and I'm passing all the fat I'm putting in my mouth. I did have a few soft pale, clay looking stools but now I'm having the oily bowels. Sorry for the details but I mean that's the only way to accurately share information with y'all. Lol And just FYI I don't have a gallbladder so I'm not sure if that plays a part to the kind of bowels I have at the moment.

brandie_vsg2017 0 Posted May 9, 2017 I was sleeved 4/26 and I had my first actually fart maybe 4 days out and I think bowl movement 5 days out. I did take Miralax to help for 2 days. Now I seem to go daily a very small amount but it's liquid and mucous looking I assume bc of the fact I'm still on liquids.< br>
JenSev 57 Posted May 9, 2017 One thing to consider after taking antibiotics(during or after surgery), is to take good Probiotics to add good bacteria back into your system. I use Bio-kult and Prescript-Assist(both found on amazon), which together give a very wide range of probiotics. Healthy bacteria promote a healthy gut and healthy regularity. I started taking them as soon as I was done with the antibiotics that were prescribed and that is when I stopped having weird and urgent poops.Sent from my SM-G900T using BariatricPal mobile app
