Anyone have extra Gas X strips they want to sell? Everyone seems to be out of stock

Sorry but all of mine are gone. In fact I was looking for some the other day and couldn't find any either. Now I know why.

Walking is the only thing that works. The worst part of my recovery was when that gas hit my shoulder and stayed there for 2 days...

I couldn't walk so I did use the gas-X strips for awhile. In my case I feel they helped cut the pain some what at first, but not enough. When that gas hit my right back shoulder I was in so much pain the Dr thought maybe my ribs were bruised from when they transferred me from the bathroom to my chair. That 2 weeks was more painful than the 3 surgeries I had. I cried out in pain every time I had to move from the recliner or the bed to my wheelchair. Finally about 2 weeks later the pain stopped. At about the three week mark I had enough strength to be able to use the rollator and walk for less than 5 minutes and use my tricycle.

After 3 days of searching the internet, I ordered from Walmart...and they sent me GELS not strips! In my worried rage I was determined to drive to every Walgreens in Miami....(they were out of stock on their website)... the first stop I made....last two boxes in south Florida apparently

It's officially an urban legend. They don't help. Get off your Ass and walk, walk, walk.

Gas X strips don't help that kind of Gas. The gas is C02 from surgery. You need muscle to burn that off, walking , toe push ups (against the wall) Walk backwards. Etc etc.

I have used them for debilitating stomach pain. It comes on almost instantly and the strips are the only thing I have found that helps me. I've been searching everywhere, if anyone has any they won't be using I am really looking hard. Some people on eBay are charging $20 a box and up.

I've tried the soft gels and they don't help at all. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you kindly.

If you do find them, stock up. They're no longer being produced by the manufacturer.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
