pixystix0116 71 Posted May 8, 2017 Hey all! My apologies if this is a duplicate topic, but could anyone suggest some things to help tighten and tone skin? My biggest problem areas seem to be the neck and upper arms. Exercise suggestions as well as skin care products would be a great help. Thanks!

ProudMomof2 51 Posted May 9, 2017 Oils. All kinds. I made myself a mix of Vitamin e, Shea, jojoba, and coconut. I usually apply with any brand of bath and bodyworks lotions after a bath. This has also helped with my stretch marks (noticeably lighter). I exfoliate with a caffeine sugar scrub at least 2X a week and take a collagen supplement in my morning Protein Shake. I'm 28 years old and around 2 years post op. I have some loose skin around my arms and tummy because that's where I carried majority of my weight but it's adjusting with this regime and strength training. Since starting CrossFit I have noticed small changes but we'll see. Best of luck to you 1 pixystix0116 reacted to this
clevergirl 41 Posted May 9, 2017 Glycolic acid peels for your neck. Any product that has glycolic and salycilic acid in it will help rejuvenate new skin. RetinA could also help. I'm dry brushing now in the hopes that the daily exfoliation will help along the way. It feels amazing and my skin is so soft.
DaleCruse 756 Posted May 10, 2017 I'm going to suggest an alternate answer: Document, document, document any/all problems you have with excess skin. Then talk with your surgical team. If you have enough documentation & their support, you *may* get your insurance to pay for excess-skin removal surgery. Good luck! 2 pixystix0116 and Carol Blackburn reacted to this
