Dr Carmina Cardenas, Mexico

Recommended Posts

Dr Carmina Cardenas was my plastic surgeon. I am beyond happy with everything she did and the cost was half what I would have paid here in the USA. I also had wonderful

after care in Mexico. I feel

so blessed she was my doctor. Feel free to pm me about her. She is an artist!!

she did a neck lift, breast lift and Tummy Tuck for me. I'm going back in a few months for a bbl lift and fat transfer to my face as well.

I adore her. Trust me she is the one you want. She knows how to work with weight loss patients bodies!!!!

You look great! I've already considered Dra. Cardenas for plastics when I need them, but that might be a while yet. From the photos I've seen (including yours) she does some beautiful stitching - I've seen some pretty jagged scars from other surgeons!

How long was your recovery?

How long was your recovery?

I had my surgeries 6 weeks ago. I'm still recovering but almost back to normal. I needed the full 6 weeks.

I need arms, tummy and leg lift. Maybe put some back in the trunk too ;)

I had a neck lift with muscle tightening, I had a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair, and a breast lift without an implant.

In the end it was about 13,500... I also had filler put in my lips which I love.

I'm going back in sept for fat to my cheeks and buttocks.

That is awesome! I hope there will be enough fat to put in my buttocks when I'm done. Got about 10 more pounds to go. I will totally check her out and tell her I heard from you. :)

You look wonderful! Does she offer financing? Did you fly into San Diego and they picked you up there? Did she make you separate the surgeries or was that your choice. I will need neck, boobs, 360 tummy, butt and thigh lift.

Can you stray longer than a week if you had more done or by choice? Thank you!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
