May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!

Recommended Posts

That burger looked yummy @Newme17. I grilled some chicken tonight in between chasing Malaya around. That girl can crawl fast. I need to childproof my house and quick.

I made my dh some yellow rice tonight at his request. I ate two bites. It was delicious, but I can't bring that back into my menu. A taste once in a great while won't kill me though. I have to learn to cook things I am not gonna eat and tonight was a good test.

I finally got the little one to sleep. Babies always look like peaceful angles when their asleep 😴.

They do. Something about watching them sleep is just beautiful. I picked up my youngest from her school yesterday, earlier than usual, the kids were all down for their nap. I just stood there watching. Such sweet blessings children are....then they wake up! 😂.

Your grand baby is a darling.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!

I was so busy I don't feel like I had 2 days off..lol... we took Malaya home around 9:30 and have been working hard all day. My dh decided to power wash the siding on the house. While he was doing that I did household chores then I decided it would be a good idea to go by some more flowers to plant in the yard.

I just finished up outside and I am beat.

so no lentils today. We are gonna have something easy, probably an omelette.

I realized just how easy it is to overheat now when working outside. We can't hydrate quickly enough. I had to take several breaks just to cool off and focus on getting fluids in.

I hope you all had a good Sunday!!

I thought maybe I ate one too many bites of a hamburger patty last night. Felt a little different than usual after eating. So I decided to finish the rest of it for tonight's dinner. No where near even 2 oz and I feel really gross. I don't believe hamburger meat is sitting well with me right now. Thankfully it's one meat I really don't care for or crave, so I'll be good for another year without a piece of hamburger!

The Water intake is crucial for us during these summer days. I feel like I need to focus more of that than eating right now.

So, if you were hungry and thirsty at the same time. Which is more important? Drink or eat?

Say what!? A 12!!!! Oh how nice! Congrats on that! 😊

I'm trying to still wear some stuff I have, don't want to spend money on stuff so short term, but they're starting to look a little ridiculous. Lol. There's a really cheap place here and my church has a (free) store. I think I'll hit those up after our 2 month post.

I'm the same I'm not trying to buy a lot of clothes either but my shorts were looking funny and my shirts were really big but I'm waiting to buy more pieces.

I had that exact problem yesterday. I chose to hydrate. I think I was functioning on a negative calorie deficit before dinner based on how much energy I was expanding.

I ended up with 600 calories for the day, but I probably burned 300+ with all I did.

This experience will have me thinking twice about working that hard outside in the heat of the day. In the future I will plan projects like this early or later in the day.

I am having this problem with my church clothes. They are all way too big, but I don't want to spend a lot of money yet on new things. I might go to Goodwill and look around.

I have noticed little changes lately with how my sleeve reacts to certain foods. I think part of the problem is me forgetting to eat slowly. I am beginning to forget my stomach is smaller and still healing and eating mindlessly. At first I was hyper aware every time I ate something and now not so much.

Same here. I, too, am forgetting to eat slowly as well. It's almost as if I had nothing done, in my head because of feeling physically normal now, but I've got to focus.

After I had posted the question, I had made the decision to fulfill my thirst first. Humans can go without food for so long but cannot go without water/liquids at all.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
