Scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, chili, ground lean meat in Pasta or taco sauce, lentils, soft fishes (oh god was salmon ever good after weeks of Protein shakes!), yogurt and Soups and Protein Drinks same as on full liquids.

Egg salad, chicken salad, yogurt, chicken wing dip (Without the chips -- just eat with a fork), ricotta cheese, or just blend up whatever is on hand. I did an overnight oatmeal recipe too that was very soft.

Scrambled eggs, a chicken and brocolli cheese casserole that I found in a bariatric surgery cookbook (the chicken is shredded and very moist), today for lunch I had deli rotisserie chicken slice rolled up with swiss cheese. For a snack I had a mini baybel light cheese. I started soft foods yesterday. This weekend I plan to have meatballs one day and "tacos" one day (lean ground beef in taco seasoning with low-fat cheese)

That all sounds delicious [emoji39]

Ricotta bake (theworldaccordingtoegghead.com), yogurt, soft fish, cheese, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, Soups that aren't strained (yay!), vegetables cooked until they're very soft, like cauliflower or squash.

3 weeks and 2 days. Started soft foods at 3 weeks post op.

The biggies for me at the soft phase were string cheese, well-cooked green Beans, and cottage cheese. (And at 7+ months post-op, I still have each of these items every day!)

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
