sprysmeow 28 Posted May 3, 2017 Hi, I am in the same boat. I had to wait about three weeks for my 1st appt. and I just completed my first check mark today! Yeah! I have my psych eval and she said everything was fine. Next week nutritionist and I can not get it to see the surgeon until the 22nd then Bariatrician on the 31st. These appointments are very hard to get.

KCallender 0 Posted May 3, 2017 When I scheduled mine, I just called and scheduled my pre-op and surgery date on the first call. No psych eval or anything. Since I'm having my surgery a couple hours from home, I did my pre-op blood work at my PCP's office. I'm scheduled for surgery on 6/3. Do you mind me asking what state you live in? Maybe the rules are different? Good luck to you! [emoji8]

sprysmeow 28 Posted May 3, 2017 My Insurance requires the Psych, Nutritionist and Surgeon. I would love to get this moving a little quicker. The Bariatrician was booked 1.5 months out. I am glad to get the extra information, but the waiting is getting old. I wish my program was this stream lined.

Hey... at least they'll pay for it. Mine won't. I'm self pay. That's probably why it's streamlined.
