Hi since niw I can have cottage cheese and egg and chicken all purade can I put spices in it for flavor

My surgeon cleared adding any spices and seasons when I moved on to pureed food at 1 week post op.

I've used a little tumeric and cumin in my plain yogurt & I've used the tumeric in my scrambled egg. I like both Indian and Middle Eastern flavors though.

I was told to add spices. They are calorie and carb free so I added anything and everything I wanted even on the liquid stage. But to be safe check with your surgeon or NUT.

I was allowed spices 3 days post op. Be careful because some can be hard on your tummy. Anything with chile pepper (even if it's not normally spicy to you) can cause problems early out.

Thank you all for the reply on spiced food. I just wanted to use somthing to mane the same blenderd food taste differnt. And it worked. ! Hope everyone is feeling well
