Green1 16 Posted May 2, 2017 i went to a doctor yesterday about my pain in the abdomen on the left side. he said basically its mostly psychological and it is caused by anxiety. when i get up in the morning that pain is there and runs into my back and pelvis area. he said that is the main reason why im getting this pain. im not exactly sure if what he is saying is correct. MarinaGirl 609 Posted May 2, 2017 Unfortunately many male doctors discount pain reported by their female patients. I hope that's not the case with you but if so you may want to consult another physician.

I'm no expert but I can say that when I had my procedure, I felt slot of pulling, burning from the stitches that were placed inside and it subsided after a few weeks. Also I do not think a second opinion would hurt. I hope you find relief and get answers soon. 1 Green1 reacted to this
