Refilled After a Long Time of No Fills?

Looking for other Bandsters who are dealing with being refilled after a significant time of no fill. I haven't had a fill in a long time due to pregnancies, and am scheduled to be refilled in a week!

I'm wondering how hard it's going to be to get back into good Bandster habits. I'm sure in a way it will be a struggle, in that with the initial surgery you have the post-op phase to sort of gear oneself up for Lap-Band life.

Hey fabfatgrl, I got the band because I was not done having children. I was just wondering, does the port become pronounced as your stomach grows? I didn't think about it before I had the surgery, but after I got it I started thinking. Does it stick out? Is it sensitive? Please let me know, I am not worried about it, but I am curious.

I actually have a sternal port, so it wasn't affected. (Basically, just beneath my breast bone.) I've been on pregnancy boards for ages, and haven't heard of other pregnant Bandsters mentioning port problems... if that helps.

Thanks so much for the reply, FFB! It help alot. As I said I am not worried about it, I was intrested in what would happen when the time came for baby#2 post banding.
