Peter James 1 Posted April 25, 2017 I have been doing my research into surgery in Mexico, looking into the decision to go with Dr Illan and Bariatricpal, anyone here used them? Can you all share your experience with them please Just want to make the correct choice for myself
Berry78 4,261 Posted April 26, 2017 II had my sleeve done 5 weeks ago by Dr. Illan. It went very well. I flew to San Diego and was picked up in an unmarked car (a tad bit of confusion there). Drove straight to the Oasis of Hope hospital. Paperwork, preop testing, before I knew it they had me heading into surgery. I woke up in recovery. After just a few minutes they took me back to my room. I had almost no pain... Just sore abdominals. As soon as I was ready, I could head out of my room and walk. The valets would walk with me. That evening I was a bit lightheaded, but by morning it was better. Nurses came in every 2 hours to give medicine in the IV. On the 3rd day I got my first shower and was discharged to the hotel. Right after getting to the hotel we went out for shopping and food for 5 hours. The next day I was out for 8 hours! The hotel was very nice. I hope to go back next year to see everyone again with my new body! 1 Peter James reacted to this
dmdakd 44 Posted April 26, 2017 I was sleeved by Dr. Ilan back in Feb, no issues, was very happy with Oasis of Hope and all of the Bariatric MX team. I would highly recommend them. 1 Peter James reacted to this
MarinaGirl 609 Posted April 26, 2017 I had a great experience with Dr. Ramos Kelly in Tijuana. I stayed at Hospital Angeles and Hotel Lucerna. Would love to go back and stay at the hotel again!
