sleever123 8 Posted April 25, 2017 So Been weighing myself and according to scale I'm down 25 pounds but clothes that I was not able to wear before barely I still can't! 25 pounds seems like a lot and yet I'm not fitting in to my biggest clothes . I'm so confused
Newme17 3,444 Posted April 25, 2017 (edited) There are some factors playing in this. The clothes are a brand that are smaller than others. You're losing inches/fat in other areas first. You have lost that weight, but maybe holding Water for a short time. Overall, you're down 25 lbs-congrats on that! I wouldn't worry about your clothes so much. Just keep doing what you're doing to lose the weight. Edited April 25, 2017 by Newme17 1 Redmaxx reacted to this
higher 966 Posted April 25, 2017 Clothes sizing is weird. Also- when you lose weight you might lose it in different ways than you did before. The same thing happened to me. Your fat redistributes around your body, you lose weight from one part of your body but not others, etc.
Berry78 4,261 Posted April 25, 2017 Lol. We talk about non-scale victories, but you are proving that the scale truly isn't everything! Thanks! 1 Newme17 reacted to this
Redmaxx 740 Posted April 25, 2017 Don't let it bug you. Before you know it they will fit and you will forget about it. Congrats on the 25 pounds. 1 Newme17 reacted to this
Brian B 94 Posted April 25, 2017 Besides eating less than you used to you're probably exercising more than you used to. Your body is changing and adjusting to so many things. Give it time and soon you won't even fit into whatever you trying to fit into now!Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N915A using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Newme17 reacted to this
anonmom 95 Posted April 26, 2017 I lost about 25 pounds in a month before I noticed much difference in size. Now I've lost about 5 pounds in the last 2 months, but I'm down 3 sizes! Bodies are weird, but this surgery works if you give it a chance to work. Keep drinking Water, exercising and eating enough protein!Sent from my Nexus 5X using BariatricPal mobile app 1 MonicaTurner9 reacted to this
