Why are my co-workers so obsessed with food?

When you are on the post op diet EVERYTHING is going to annoy you and just make you mad. The way people eat, the way they talk, they way they walk, the fact that they are alive and annoying you.

Give yourself a break and know that this will pass. Life gets better!

Yep, it definitely won't be long before you go 'my god, how can they eat like that/all of that'. I am finding myself disgusted all the time at what a pig my husband is.. or at a restaurant watching others eat.. skinny people, fat people, doesn't matter. Anyone without bariatric surgery eats SO MUCH and SO FAST.

And until April of this year, I had no idea.

It's shocking, isn't it? I mean, until I was banded, I'd keep up with the best of them. I look at my parents and friends now and wonder how in the world I used to suck down that much food. People eat so much more than they really need to survive. I'll eat with my parents, and my dad will eat a huge portion of lasagna, garlic bread, veggies. And then he'll go for the ice cream or Cookies. It's really mind-boggling. :faint:
