lucielu 21 Posted April 20, 2017 I'm 3 weeks out, on soft foods. I haven't missed a Vitamin, I get all my Protein in, and all my fluids. But I feel tired and dizzy. I barely make it through the day. Does this get better? Is it normal? What have your experiences been? Thanks! 1 eg25 reacted to this

lucielu 21 Posted April 20, 2017 No meds for blood pressure. I'm hoping this is just because my body has been through a lot and it'll get better.
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted April 20, 2017 Seasonal allergies? If my head is a little clogged, I get dizzy when I change direction.
lucielu 21 Posted April 20, 2017 Never had allergies in my life. Thanks for the ideas though. I'll call my doc and see what he thinks.
shon74 119 Posted April 23, 2017 I think this is normal at this time bcs I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and I'm feeling the same way, well I was up until maybe Thursday or Friday, the last two days I been fine walking 2.5 miles today felt great, but then as soon as I sat down I fell asleep for like 2 hrs. 1 Claire78 reacted to this
rainyann 118 Posted April 23, 2017 I am almost 6 weeks out and it does get better... the first 3 or 4 weeks I was also very tired. Everything gets better every day... don't despair 1 Claire78 reacted to this
TeahTeah 22 Posted April 25, 2017 I'm only 2 weeks post op but I still feel very tired. It seems to get a bit easier every day!
LeaninLanc 83 Posted April 25, 2017 I found that it took me about 4-5 weeks to feel like I had a semblance of my prior energy. I am absolutely not a day time napper but I felt like my body was telling me that I needed to recharge to heal. I'm 7 weeks out and 100% back to my normal speed. I see many people on here speaking about their dramatic return to activity, etc but it is a major surgery and your body must adjust in so many different ways. Best wishes! 2 Claire78 and hopekate reacted to this

It will ease but keep drinking sips of Water.< br>Sent from my SM-G925I using BariatricPal mobile app
